Located in Kansas City, MO, Jon Ulasien is a versatile multimedia artist who specializes in film, photography, animation and design. His eclectic style and experience with post-production bring a unique versatility to any creative project. Jon has worked in the music industry, writing and performing with the band Antennas Up since 2010. All four members, including Ulasien, took a DYI approach to recording and promoting their music, landing them TV licensing deals with various companies like MTV, FX, and Nabisco. This approach also led Jon to gaining experience with design and film as he designed many of the band's posters and eventually directed and animated their video to "I'll Be Home for Christmas". He has since taken on several other projects, ranging from company logo design to magazine photography. In 2014, he directed and animated a video for "Cement Mixer" by Clinic, which garnished positive attention from the band and its fans. Updates about current and future projects can be found on his personal blog.
